Parky sets record straight on Jade

Sir Michael Parkinson has defended comments he made about Jade Goody shortly after she died.

The veteran broadcaster attracted criticism when he wrote in the Radio Times that Goody represented “all that is paltry and wretched” about modern Britain.

But the chat show legend defended his stance, saying: "My comments weren't about Jade to start with. They were about the society that breeds Jade.
