The Den gig was the Haiti Appeal. Kate even got a mention in The Guardian's online preview, along with Mistress-De-Funk and other respected peers - blimey.

Kate's got a gig at Gatecrasher, Birmingham, in April.
Not that Kate needs to prove herself as a top DJ(yes, Big Brother is considered naff) - but hasn't she been working on their doorstep for top-branded Kerrang! Radio for nearly three years? Stoopid.

Kate was hoping to see some friends and catch Ricardo Villalobos on Bholiday friday in Custard factory Birm before that gig saturday in Gatecrasher Birmingham GB.

I have never seen Kate the DJ at work but from what I hear from you guys and read about her she seems to be doing what Kate always does - a good job.

I suppose it's an occupational hazard for Kate to get any respect for being a great dance DJ because of the Big Brother baggage - even though Kate has always been a true clubber - same for her mainstream career as a radio presenter.
Be nice if Kate got some support from mixmag for her dance career or got a Sony nomination for her brilliant presenting on Kerrang! Radio.

Kate says on twitter she's got a few new tracks.

Yes, that's promising, she hasn't got that many gigs lined up on her MySpace, not sure if she's just lining up festivals, or thinking of how to promote her new tracks. Or perhaps there may be other irons in the fire, she was talking about "meetings" she was having

Good to see Kate's still trying to progress on her dance career, getting her own music produced. TV/Radio broadcasting jobs are transient. She shouldn't stop till she gets important dance festival gigs and recognition from the likes of mixmag, etc.

I mean, it's not like journeymen djs from Kerrang! Radio aren't always promoting their wonderful dj appearances playing, er, indie/rock tracks at gigs in nightclubs... Always funny to hear their vanity. They only play other people's music!
At least Danielle Perry has her own band.
