Kate & OJ Borg interviewed Amanda Bryam on Kerrang! Radio breakfast today who presents the pre-records for BBC1's Wipeout, a programme I wished I hated!

Amanda was quite good fun.

Kate said after the interview that she was on the shortlist for the 'celebrity' version to be shown at Christmas, but didn't make it - a fact OJ Borg knew.

Always thought Kate should hold out for Strictly Come Dancing - Love Island was an awful decision for 'career' - especially when she had already met Tim Shaw beforehand.

Still, 'Hole in the Wall', pretty naff, but Kate seemed peeved today that she alone was chosen by the the producers to appear when Euro-Millions Lottery guy, OJ Borg, who was in the frame, wasn't. Don't think Kate was happy about that.

Funny on The Morning After today: Kate drove back from London in the early hours of the morning to present the breakfast show & didn't seem in bad form, especially when you consider she had to play at two gigs, saturday/sunday morning.

Great that Kate was back at The Ministry of Sound, sunday morning - separates her from the media z-list. Ace.

I love Hole In The Wall and I will love it even more now that the lovely Kate is appearing on it.

As well as a gig at top club, Sankeys, Manchester, this weekend, Kate is filming Hole in the Wall for the BBC - though it's Anton from Strictly Come Dancing presenting, not Dale Winton!

Felt a bit sorry for OJ Borg, as did Kate, but the producers only wanted Kate.

Kate said last night on Kerrang! that she really enjoyed filming Hole in the Wall - it will be shown sometime on the beeb in the autumn.

Kate & OJ Borg sitting in on the breakfast show today & tomorrow because Simon James is poorly. Not swine flu, but poor Singing Henri is also off sick and he may have it.

Kate and OJ Borg have recently been trying to break obscure world records for submission to a website devoted to ridiculous world records ie The Universal Record Database - aka URDB.

Today, Kate broke the world record for the number of monkey nuts smashed with her head in 15 seconds!

OJ Borg has broken two world records, his proudest being the quickest unravelling of a toilet roll!

Sounds like Kate & OJ Borg are sitting in on Kerrang's breakfast show till the end of the week.

OJ Borg has got a good gig next week presenting the mid-week British lottery on the wednesday - where he will interview the Peter Andre before he excites us all with his new single.

To be fair though, Kate was really happy for OJ Borg.

Its good they are well thought of to back up the headline bfast show and interesting to do it but it must be irritating for Drive listeners to keep losing them-what with own holidays as well as well as SJ/H's holidays and illnesses.

Yeah, to be fair to Gordon Davidson, Kerrang! Radio's boss, Kate has always been the first choice to present The Morning After when Simon James/Hill are on holiday or ill.

Part lifestyle or not, Kate has been at Kerrang! Radio for almost two years & has only been absent ill for two days - & that was food poisoning - a fact she angrily spoke about when she got back.
Plenty of other Kerrang! Radio employees seem to be off sick regularly.

Aah, bless OJ Borg, he helped Kate break that world record by diverting a nut!

Kate's on holiday after today's Drivetime, & OJ Borg is presenting the mid-week lottery tonight.

OJ Borg , never shy on Kerrang! Radio; last night, he made sure he promoted his appearance on the mid-week lottery on the previous wednesday night.

I missed what the 20 minute row was about last thursday-was it explained? I know the day started with an OJ headache and Kate being poorly so I guess it came out of that.

Don't think it really was explained, unless I'm forgetting something, which is entirely possible.

They've had another row today about computers or summat. Interestingly Kate hasn't been involved in the last few links

Well OJ is saying she's not well, and has gone home......

Don't know what has been set-up and what hasn't.

Kate and OJ Borg did say last friday that they had an argument on thursday between 6.30pm & 7pm but producer Neil told them to carry on with the show, and they appeared to for professional reasons.
I didn't notice any tension at the time and listening back to the Kerrang! Radio repeat link last thursday gives very little indication that they fell out. Could be wrong though.

Last night was bizarre. Kate started the show OK, saying OJ had been given his own desk(probably the most thrilled OJ Borg has ever been in his career!), and she was looking forward to a Kasabian gig in Wolverhampton that night.
After the next two records were played, Kate had left, apparently feeling ill, as OJ Borg said. OJ Borg seemed pretty nervous, thereafter.

Anyway, Simon James and Hill are off on another holiday for the rest of the week & Kate & OJ Borg are apparently presenting The Morning After on Kerrang! Radio tomorrow.
