Anyway good rajars for Kerrang, hopefully means that Kate's show is doing well, hard to tell as the station didn't really mention it.

I think it's quite strange that Kate hasn't got voiceover work when she is actually quite brilliant at accents - Kate's far too talented to attempt 'cod' accents - maybe it's just like the battle Kate has for respect on the Dance scene because of Big Brother.

It's all linked PiL. I'm afraid. It's the great dichotomy of being a BB contestant, on one hand the people may never have got famous in the first place, but on the other hand you will never get any credibility, no matter what you do.

I read a ridiculous review of one of her gigs, when the journo (some uni snob on a website) hadn't even bothered to turn up to watch, another media watcher seemed to be surprised she turned up at a commercial radio awards show (calling her big brothers kate lawler). After all it wouldn't be because she's been doing a drivetime show on a national radio station for years, would it.

It's the way it is, I'm afraid.

According to The Sun, Alison Hammond is on IACGMOOH this year.
Amazing, if true, because her two week eviction from eviction from BB3 was decidely dodgy??
However, Alison proved to be the most successful Big Brother housemate in terms of media career; she is the only Big Brother housemate who interviews the Hollywood A-list on an ITV1 flagship show on a regular basis.
There's probably going to be a few 'celebrities' with no real careers who will beat her with hype, but good luck to her.

Ooh if that is true, then I reckon I shall have to watch it (I don't usually because some of the trials make me feel sick and give me nightmares to go to bed with!)

Just checked at Alison's twitter and she's till tweeting, but has suggested she's not appearing on the show??
Who knows?? I hope she does because I think she'd do really well.
Maybe This Morning want her to review the show as she's done before?

Kate's tweeted that she's just spoke to Slash again, hopefully an interview on her show. How cool and surreal is that!

Interesting debate on Kerrang pages, involving Shabby's band, have to say I'm on Voodoo Husseys side, Luke Wilkins not my fave guy at Kerrang, seems to pander to a few music snobs on the FB page.

Kate at Villa Park, seats are to small there, not a ground I like going to.

Hardly watched any X-Factor in years because it's dreadfully hyped throughout the Z-List media, but from what I saw of Stacey Solomon, she does at least have personality. Hope The Happy Monday, Shaun, wins for rock/indie fans. John 'PiL' Lydon walked out when he had it in the bag. Since then, we've had the appalling and tedious hype of Kerry & Jordan!

I do find it odd that the likes of Luke Wilkins, who is total rock DJ cliche, and Simon James and Hill from Breakfast never seem to contribute to Kate's 'recent and decent' track - a pretty good part of her show.

The guys that do seem to contribute are Danielle Perry, Matt Stocks, Loz Guest, Johnny Doom, Producer Neil, Alex Baker & Kate, herself. Loved Liam Gallagher's new track the other night.

By the way, Alex Baker presents his Unsigned Show on Sunday 8-10pm, but his own, 'The Alex Baker Show', that follows, 10pm-12am, is the funniest radio out there. He is by far the most hilarious radio presenter there is and gets great support Hayley & Kevin.

Spencer Smith's wedding is in OK! Magazine this week - wish him good luck.

Guess like any organistion, some people get on better then others. Alex does seem a nice bloke. Only just started to listen to the show tonight, any goss would be appreciated from earlier. Did she mention why she was interviewing Colin Farrell, not her normal type of rock interview.

Alex Baker is something else. Listened to his show last Sunday after 10pm. This will mean nothing to anybody here, but he did a p!sstake of pompous, fame-hungry idiot, Gregg Wallace, from 'Masterchef', and it's the funniest Radio I've heard for a long while. Genius. That guy will probably win a Sony. Not Wallace!

Don't know anything about the Colin Farrell thing but his new movie is being promoted on TV at the moment.

The Sun say that Alison Hammond and Dom Joly are going into the jungle today. Hope the camp is united soon because the separation is stupid.

Kate's got the competition next week on Kerrang! Radio for the new film, London Boulevard, starring Ray Winstone and Colin Farrell. Don't know about reviews yet but it looks like it could be as good as Sexy Beast.

It looks like they've sent Jenny Eclair into the jungle. Alison is the most successful peep from Big Brother regarding top jobs in the TV media so doesn't need it anyway.
Kate's got involved with some cretin called 'Fame Truth Teller' on her 'twitter' page for a few posts!

Don't know why. Kate could have used her fame to become a 'Celebrity' Dance DJ and make a lot of money like many other 'Z' list' 'celebrities' and the sons and daughters of the rich & famous who suddenly claim to be 'Dance' DJs, but she didn't.

Kate, at least, worked hard to become a Top DJ in the Dance World. Kate's had great success, but has been denied opportunities because of the naff promotion of Big Brother and those housemates who exploited the cr@p hype.

Kate really should not comment on the twitter morons, particularly one that seems to just wish to rile people on the page. Very sad, I'm sure a good psychiatrist could have a field day with someone so inadequate all they can do is slag off their betters.
