Thank you for all the gossip on Kate Pil, she sure seems to be having the time of her life at the moment.

Kate certainly has the intelligence to know what's funny or not.

Kate's dad, the formidable Des, was brought onto the programme today to reprise his wife, Sylvia's experiment, but, though his love for Katie was very much evident, he failed to match Kate & her moms favourite foods.
What made me laugh was the fact that Tim Shaw is 6ft 5", a complete piss-taker, but very, very tentative when speaking to Kate's dad!, who is obviously a bit tasty & very tall!!!

Good grief... Jade Goody, the moron whose hype is only believed by the brain-dead(including BB contestants), was on 'The Morning After', today, promoting some patronising, no-brainer, no person would would ever buy it , christmas dinner DVD! - I can hardly be bothered to mention it.
Suffice to say, Jade & her new agent have been very, very, very, desperate to make the pathetic scumbag from BB3 & CBB5 a marketable cretin in this z-list age.

Kate bit her lip to start with, was very polite - & Jade, without shame, bragged about her 'perfume' being No.2 somewhere, though she would not say where exactly.
Kate did not mention the fact that Jade used Spencer to attack her & make money for herself & John Noel Management in her book.

Kate stepped up MASSIVELY & asked Jade whether she was in touch with 'the others who bullied Shilpa, like Danielle & Jo', but there was silence & fuss made in the background for a minute(a long time on radio)& Jade's people stepped in & said she wouldn't answer any other questions like that.

Brilliant radio.

I thought it was awful, tbh.

I'd really rather I never had to hear from Jade again. She was horrible, imho, boastful, cringeworthy and ignorant. Tim & Kate did a good job asking questions that others, no doubt, won't, but I just don't care. Kate will no doubt be accused of jealousy, as she always is when she talks about Jade.

Listening to her whilst England lost the cricket, not my ideal morning, it has to be said.

Kate is not vindictive and she really doesn't have to be the one to expose Jade for the untalented nasty peice of work she is, Jade does that all by hersefl...

Yep, it was really nasty, but brilliant radio - fair play to Katie for keeping her tongue.
It just shows you everything you need to know about the vile Goody & the people around her.
But we've got the evidence where 'lovely' Jade callled Shilpa a 'p***' behind Shilpa's back.
Kate could have destroyed the vile Goody monster & her agent if she wanted to.
It makes me sick that Spencer spent years after BB3 licking Jade's arse even though she got rid of him on BB3(it's all on tape), & allowed some scumbag friend of his called Nader to post hatred & misogyny against Kate on Oh Spencer when Kate said absolutely nothing bad about him.

You could hardly describe Tim Shaw as 'bottling' it with a cretin like the Goody monster but he wasn't very good today - while The Great Lady made her point.
Tim Shaw should have/could have destroyed the Jade cretin.
Tim doesn't discriminate - he hates everybody! - the tension between him & the new news guy, Joe, is really uncomfortable - but that's what radio is all about, I suppose!

To be honest, I don't know why Tim carried out a text vote to ascertain whether the Goody monster should be forgiven for her behaviour on Celebrity Big Brother - for God's sake she was vile on the original BB she was on!!! - Jade is 'famous' in this ghastly age because hype of the z-list is king/queen - no other reason.

Anyway, from what Tim & Kate said today, Kate met Tim's wife & kids last night, no doubt a privilege - because Tim is a family guy off-air.

btw the reason I was reading this thread is I heard kate on kerrang and I thought she was pretty good,id heard bad things so thought id make my own opinion, I was surprised she carried herself off as well as she did, tho I do think she needs to be more forward, she seems to stay in Tims shade too much

Your post is absolutely wonderful.

You're right - some of the 'rock' anoraks aren't appreciative of The Morning After with Tim & Kate - because the show is light-hearted, mainstream, & aimed at the average Joe & Josephine. Some crusty dweebs would prefer more rock tracks played - but the show was always going to be a bit different, a complete p!sstake, where Tim & Kate's chemistry would have to be developed - & it is. I don't think Tim has ever met anyone like Kate before.

Since Kate got back from Brazil the show has become immense, with Kate becoming more & more Tim Shaw's equal. You can't expect Kate to match Tim Shaw in radio jock terms, she never will - he was born to sit behind the radio desk - but the chemistry is there.

I'm not sure how much Kate and Jade were involved in the set-up.It went off OK-Jade said she'd not said anything nasty about Kate recently(hoola!) but Tim did keep hammering away at how vile Jade was("Having such people in it makes me want to leave the entertainment industry for good")while Jade had been briefed to say nothing about CBB5 and that's all Tim wanted to talk about.
The poll was 87% Jade should not be forgiven for her CBB5 but no one knew what this should mean.The main support for Jade was that she was just stupid(as usual).The show is still available at kerrang website until next wednesday.It's worth a listen and the music is good.
I don't really think there's much sting in it now for KJ as they live and work in different worlds and have only talked to each other about 5x in 5 years and then it's usually hello and goodbye.
I don't know why they have guests on and then be rude to them -won't they just run dry.Josh Hartnett was a real sweetie and yet if Tim is just oblivious to their needs then his like won't appear again.We'll just be left with the nan's.

Yes, the show did have it's teething problems, was a bit scetchy, as they all got to know each other. Then just as it hit a flow, she disappeared to Brazil, great for her club Dee-jaying, but not so good for the Kerrang show.



Agree with this whole-heartedly, Vilt, I don't mind him slating guests if they are a bit arsey, but he makes his decisions to do so, before they even come on. When he really goes off on one, he even cuts Kate's and Lucies microphones, so they can't even temper his madness. The interview with that bloke off Neighbours was cringeworthy. Also going against officially the nicest man in the world, Ardal O'Hanlon, was also very odd.

Liked his interview with jenni trent-hughes today, mainly because I despise these irritating pop-psychologists, life-style coaches (FFS) they have infesting the media nowadays. I laughed aloud at that, not nasty, just surreal.

The Kate-hair thing was odd today. Interesting, anyway.
