I did find the Christmas edition pretty amusing though! Alastair's Paul was pretty good, but I wasn't too impressed with "Helen!"

It's much better since he stopped doing all the football stuff, but he's still a bit hit and miss for me. Helen and Paul were OK at Christmas, but there were a few major flaws, and it wasn't that creative. Hopefully they'll have thought it through a bit more for the series. If they are including them, then that implies he knows the public do know them well enough. I'd heard that he'd been unsure if his normal family viewing audience would know enough about them.

Unfortunately, I missed the Xmas show, so I'm looking forward to this programme, especially after what everyone has said. It will be interesting to see how they are portrayed.

Yeah i'll be watching because I think he's really good, but i'm worried about his H&P impression because the general feeling about Bb contestants is that they are a pain so i've got a feeling that they'll let rip tomorrow night and be really horrible about them. Apparently the sketch is called How would you live without your brain!!!!!!! Obviously a dig at H and I know a lot of people see Paul as stupid as well-ignorant people obviously, because we all know he isn't and we also know there is so much more to H as well

Hmm! I'm not sure I like the title of the sketch - it doesn't sound very complimentary!

I have a feeling they may be doing Paul and Helen this Friday, but not sure though.

Did you manage to see it Nicki? It was on last night. I actually thought it was quite good, even though it is obvious they dislike Helen and Paul and were not particularly complimentary, but I'm sure Helen and Paul would find it funny and not mind.
