According to Ananova, Dean and Bubble have had their hopes of making a World Cup TV show dashed by ITV. (I didn't even realise they intended making a World Cup TV show!)
Apparently, they put forward the idea of a video diary format in which they would give a World Cup fans' view of the tournament in Japan and South Korea, but the idea for Two Upfront has been scrapped by ITV producers because it would have been too expensive.
"It's a big disappointment as it would have been great to cover the World Cup," Dean told Teletext.
"We had meetings with ITV1 but it became very, very obvious that it wasn't going to work because of financial constraints. We'd have covered the World Cup experience on behalf of all fans."
