After the celebrity whirlwind of turning up to the opening of a thousand envelopes, it seems
Big Brother runner-up Jonny Regan has finally had enough of the showbiz lifestyle.
The once-fame hungry fireman from Peterlee came second to Kate Lawler in the 2003 series of the hit reality TV show.
But when he bumped into a couple of Chronicle reporters on board a boat to Amsterdam last week, Jonny came over all camera shy.
Our guys were accompanying the Dream Date winners to the Dutch capital. They spotted Mr Regan and asked him to pose for a picture. But while he was happy to sign autographs for fellow passengers, he politely declined a photo.
