I had flashbacks to last year and thought HMT's panto was Jack and the Beanstalk this year too... oops! Think Attic are doing it this year.

Cool, I'll maybe try and see it at some point as the ones I've seen by them have been fab but the tally of pantos I'm supposed to be going to this "season" is already at 4 without that ::lol:: Need to buy tickets for them still mind you.

Do any of those 4 pantos include Spencer's panto in Blackburn (as mentioned on another thread)?

Is Craig playing Jack too? I presume that's the ex-Crossroads star Tony Adams (who played Adam Chance) rather than the assistant boss of Portsmouth FC.

BIG Brother star Craig Phillips will be the main attraction when the Christmas lights are switched on in Commercial Road, Portsmouth, tonight.

Unfortunately not Foinavon, no. Supposed to be seeing 2/3 in Aberdeen(shire) and then another 2 in the Glasgow-ish area once I finally get tickets sorted!

Are you going to that one?

I'm making plans to go to Spencer's panto but not 100% certain that I'll be going. Nearly every panto is Jack & The Beanstalk this year.

Apparently Craig's panto also stars real-life couple Paul Parris & Filipa Jeronimo, who were in Spencer's panto last year.

Panto cast make it a happy day for Joan

STARS of the Kings Theatre Christmas panto made a surprise visit to one lucky lady on her birthday.

Former theatre owner Joan Cooper was celebrating her 90th birthday when the cast of Jack and the Beanstalk went to see her in her nursing home.

Big Brother star Craig Phillips, Lisa Riley, Jasmine Darke, Graham Ashe and Alan Jenkins from the show, donned sparkly hats to get the party going.

Mrs Cooper – who owned the Kings Theatre, Southsea, for 20 years in the early 1960s – was presented with a bouquet of flowers and everybody joined in a happy birthday singsong.

Sheila Smith, from the Kings Theatre, said: 'It was really special. Joan absolutely loved it. She raised her cup of tea and made a toast to the Kings Theatre and to the pantomime.

'The sun was shining as we sat in the conservatory and Joan was bright and looked sparkling.

'We worked together when she used to run the theatre and have stayed close, and she always liked to know what is going on with the theatre.

'It was a thrilling to be able to make such a fantastic trip on her special day.'
