JADE Goody's former childminder was in court last week facing charges of theft from the star.
At Harlow Magistrates' Court last Thursday,
Luke Rustem, 28, of Soper Square, Harlow, pleaded not guilty to nine charges of stealing cheques from the reality TV star between February 9, 2005 and April 9, 2006. The cheques ranged in value from £100 to £2000.
He was arrested in April for breach of trust after Miss Goody noticed the cheques were missing.
He must now attend Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on March 16 for a pre-trial hearing.
