WITHOUT wishing to sound too cheesy, I'm proud of every single part of Pride," states Jackie Crozier emphatically taking a few minutes out from her busy schedule fitting all the pieces of this year's Pride together.
"And, the fact that Manchester Pride is itself a charity means that no matter which event you're taking part in, it's all helping to support LGBT causes across Greater Manchester."
But let's not forget the Big Weekend . After all, it's not called that for nothing. Beth Ditto's band The Gossip headline the event which, even by CityLife's recollection of many Pride events, is something of a coup.
"It is!" says Jackie. "But we're excited about all of the artists taking to the stage. There's something for everyone.
