BURGLARS targeted Jade Goody yesterday - then police told her she was breaking the law.

The Big Brother star's £400,000 detached house in Chipping Ongar, Essex, was broken into.

Cops called to check it out saw the tax disc on the 26-year-old's Audi was out of date and told her to get a new one.

Goody no longer lives in the four-bedroom home. Her letting agent discovered the break-in.

She said: "Nothing has been taken. It's more unpleasant than anything. It's upsetting."

Jade ‘devastated’ by £30K burglary

Jade Goody has been left 'devastated' after burglars stole up to £30,000 worth of possessions from her home.

The thieves reportedly broke into the £500,000 property in Chipping Ongar, Essex, by smashing a window.

Goods suspected missing are said to include state of the art electrical equipment and wide screen TVs.

The 26-year-old Big Brother star was seen storming from the home screaming: 'I've been f***ing burgled.'
