BIG Brother winner and DIY expert Craig Phillips has warned young tradespeople about the dangers of asbestos exposure.
The TV star was speaking out in support of the British Lung Foundation’s campaign to make young people in Merseyside Asbestos Aware.His uncle Gordon Everett, 57, contracted asbestos-related lung disease after being exposed to the dangerous insulator.
Craig said: “I have seen what this has done to my uncle and do not want anyone else to suffer. Young people think asbestos is a thing of the past.
“It is still prevalent in a lot of buildings.”
