Seeing as we are talking about putting your foot in it, it only seems right that we look at the tragic life of Mr Television USA, Charlie Sheen. For too long, Sheen has been allowed to get his way with the Network that employed him.
He is a repulsive character who has been adored by his employers because of the success of his show, Two And A Half Men.
This high-rating blockbuster allowed Sheen to become the highest-paid television star in the States, being paid nearly $2m per episode. The show brought in about $155m a year. It also allowed the executives to turn a blind eye to his aggressive, drunken, drug-fuelled behaviour.
