YOUNG apprentices were inspired when Big Brother winner and TV handyman Craig Phillips dropped into Swindon College.
It was part of a two-day exhibition from HIP! for young plumbers and electricians, which saw students from across the country visiting the college to meet suppliers and potential employers.
The 39-year-old, who is a trained builder and has presented ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover and the BBC’s Housecall, was on hand yesterday to judge competitions and is due to be at the college again today.
Craig, who won Big Brother in 2000, said: “I have come here to see all the students, I supported the HIP! show last year.
