Does anyone here have the BB calander? I ordered mine before Christmas, and it still hasn't arrived. I don't even know who is featured in January and if I should be annoyed about missing them!

I think they usually say 4-6 weeks on delivery for the calendar, don't they, so you should get it soon.

Unless you're an Amma fan, you're not missing too much, because she is on the January page. The housemates go in alphabetical order i.e Amma - January, Brian - February, Bubble - March etc....

I remember spotting the 4-6 weeks thing after I'd made my order, but I thought that was an out of date message. I couldn't believe that they wouldn't have them in stock in December.

Fortunately I'm not an Amma fan, so I don't care about missing her. I'll be quite annoyed if I miss Brian though. It seems a bit cruel giving him the shortest month, but I dare say alphabetical order made things easier.

It does seem a bit much that the New Year has started and you haven't received it yet. You would think they would have them in stock, wouldn't you?

Dougle, I have sent an email to Amazon to ask them when you are likely to receive your calendar, because I think its a bit much that you haven't received it yet.

Thanks Christine. I've not even had a message telling they are finding them hard to locate or something. Just after I ordered it I saw one in a shop (the only one I'd seen in a shop), but decided to wait. I'm thinking that they didn't print enough.

I think last year they went overboard on the merchandising, which is part of what encouraged the backlash. This year they've kept it to a minimum, but I know several people who just gave up trying. They can't seem to get the balance right. We are still interested though!

Personally, I think it is worth having, so I hope it turns up soon so that you don't miss Brian!

I got an email last night telling me this

Quote:
Dear Customer,

We are sorry to report that the following item has been delayed.

"BIG BROTHER OFFICIAL 2002 CALENDAR"

Our current estimate is that it will take an additional 4-6 weeks
to obtain this item for you.

Please note, should you wish to check the status of an order, or to
make changes to it, you can do so via the "Your Account" link:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/your-account/

We aim to keep our catalogue as accurate as possible, but
unfortunately there are occasions on which the information we receive
from our suppliers may not be up to date.

We apologise for any inconvenience such inaccuracies may have caused
you.

I think it's safe to say it's out of stock. If they haven't found one by now, then I don't think they will. As I said before, I did look for them in the shops to no avail. I ordered it from amazon, and only later saw a single solitary one between rows of Hollyoaks, Westlife, Angel and Man U ones. I suppose BB didn't want to risk the negative publicity having copies in bargain bins would give to the new series. Wimps!

Would you believe that I've just had an email telling me they're dispaching it! I don't know if your email helped, but I'm grateful anyway. I'm wondering if after the original time limit is overrun, they get an actual person in, or try another supplier.

Oh well, I still love buying things on the internet, but I'll be more careful about checking delivery times in the future!

It may have had something to do with my email, because they did reply to me yesterday. I hope it arrives soon. You should just about be in time for Brian!

I wish I had written to them sooner now!
