Big Brother seems to have gone quiet at the moment. Why can't Paul and Helen get married or something to give us something to talk about?

I was only thinking about the other day - it has gone very quiet! Helen hasn't even been on Lorraine recently!
If it wasn't for my Brian encounters over the weekend, I think I'd be suffering from withdrawal symptoms!
Hurry up series 3! Or yeah, Helen and Paul get engaged or something!

Exactly Nicki. Why can't one of them do something outrageous like get really drunk and knock Vanessa over at an awards show or something? I know it's naff, and they've spent the last 6 months trying to prove that they aren't (all) only interested in showbiz parties, but c'mon. They need to give us something. PLEASE. Even Naz seems to have taken a break from the celebrity party circuit.

One thing I did spot in OK magazine (I think). The one with Jordan and her bump on the front, was a small bit about how Helen and Paul are supposed to be looking for a weekend home in Reading (as well as the one in London). This sounds like a load of nonsense to me, but I thought you might like to know. I can only imagine they were seen going into a house that had a For Sale sign in the vicinity.

Did it actually say that they were looking for one in Reading as well as London? Maybe it is instead of the London one? It does seem a bit strange.

I saw that as well, Dougle. It was in the Celebrity News Round-up section of OK magazine dated 24 January.

There was a picture of Helen on her own, and the text read:

'HOUSEHUNTING - FOR TWO PADS AND NOT ONE

Big Brother 2 couple Helen Adams and Paul Clarke are looking for a new home in north London and also want a weekend house in Paul's home town of Reading. The pair both need to be based in London due to work comitments. Helen works for Sky One.'

Don't know where they got this information from, and it's a bit inaccurate in that Helen has said in recent interviews that she and Paul have already bought a place in London. :D

I wonder if perhaps they were renting somewhere in Reading while they were looking for somewhere to buy in London. I remember hearing Helen commenting that they didn't really stay with Paul's parents for that long during one of her video promotion interviews. At the time I thought she was perhaps fed up with people making a big deal about them staying with the parents, but I suppose it is possible they were able to move out without everyone noticing. I do remember months ago talk of them looking for somewhere in the Reading area.

It really woudln't make sense to buy a weekend home in Reading when you have one in London. If they wanted to go there for the weekend it would be to visit people, and surely they could stay with them (or Paul's parents). I'd also have thought there spare weekends would be used to go to Wales.

It's really hard to rent somewhere for less than a 6 month lease, so they'll probably use it until then. If of course this second home exists in the first place!
