As there has been a bit of friction on here recently over the Alex and Kate debates, we are introducing a few new rules. Now, I know that some of you enjoy discussing Alex and Kate and I certainly don't want to take away your rights to do so, but at the same time there are others who don't want to continually hear about Kate and Alex on every single thread. So, in view of that, please could all members only discuss Kate and Alex in the threads which are specifically about them and not suddenly change the subject of another thread (about Lisa or Alison for example) to start talking about Alex and Kate. Any threads which are changed to mention Kate or Alex which (in the view of the moderators) are out of context for the thread in question, will have the offending post removed.

Also, in future, if a moderator deletes a post, they must send a PM to the member concerned, explaining why the post has been deleted. If you are not happy with their decision to delete it, then please PM me about it, but don't have it out on the board. This also applies if anybody has a problem with another member, then please PM them or me about it, but don't mention it on the board.

I hope you feel that these rules are fair and you will observe them. Thank you. ()^

I agree with what you are saying 100 % Christine. The fact is where some threads have gone off topic with regards to talking about Kate and Alex, if someone felt the need to bring them up in an unrelated topic, I sometimes feel the need to reply to these posts and I daresay I have been guilty of changing the subject sometimes myself, Can't say without going back through my posts though

Your post has made me feel like a naughty schoolgirl now getting a ticking off by the teacher :lecturer: ;)

I don't see the need for Alex and Kate to be compared to each other all the time either, it's not a competition between them, but reading some of the posts that do always compere them, sometimes I feel a need to respond. But I am willing to give it a go and maybe just talk about Alex, Alex and more Alex ()^ and ignore any threads or posts in future that fm's feel they need to use to pit Kate against Alex. Is that ok ()^ I will try to be good

I don't want to be a Image I would rather be a Image

I find myself agreeing with you Madeline for once, it is wasting Christine's valuable time, especially as reading through past threads (ie: the lisa one where OTH and it's presenter's, namely one of them being Alex was carried over from another thread ) you have been the main instigator, along with your buddy in crime Geena. But at least I enjoy reading some of your posts ;) not all. Lets hope we can respect Christine's wishes in future ()^

Thanks for this thread Christine, I think it was needed. and yes, like Madeline said it's a shame you had to waste time making this thread.

I think a lot of things that are said about Alex and Kate are repeated again and again

I totally concur with your post, Christine - BB3 hms should indeed only be mentioned in the BB3 forum. Actually, it would suit me just fine as I have only limited access to my computer during the day and don't have time to read all the forums on here - apart from last week when I had a look on the BB4 forum and replied to a post about BB3 hms with my personal opinion, mea culpa. :-(

..and yea, all the prophecies were fulfilled. And verily black was white. and hypocrisy and defamatory were banished. For all eternity. (slight pause) which was nice. :)

...it wouldn't have mattered, what he had written about the BB5 HM's.
It's the same people, predictably, spilling their anti-Sibley bile.

no doubt you have great irritation with those elsewhere who incessantly post their bile against Kate Lawler just because she thrashed their Alex & preffered Spencer in the looks department
