BRIAN McFADDEN has sent estranged wife Kerry a get-well wish after the depressed star checked into the Priory clinic.
The former Westlife singer called from his home in Ireland, where he is looking after the couple's two daughters.
Kerry Katona, 24, is expected to stay at the Priory - a favourite retreat for troubled stars - for three days after she admitted feeling 'very down' since her marriage split.
Yesterday, publicist Max Clifford confirmed 24-year-old Brian was at home with their daughters, Molly, three, and 10-month-old Lily-Sue.
He said: 'Brian sent Kerry a get-well message while looking after the children. Kerry needs a bit of peace and quiet and is doing OK.'
He said ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry was 'very flat' after false claims of a reconciliation with her husband.
She had been to one of Brian's gigs with Molly and they were later seen together.
Clifford said: 'She has had a rotten week with people thinking they are back together. She took Molly to watch Brian - then they spent time together as a family.'
