Sophie Anderton is the latest celeb to be evicted from camp.
She becomes the fifth evictee as the Famous Five become the Fab Four.
The title of King or Queen of the jungle will now be fought out between Janet Street-Porter, Paul Burrell, Fran Cosgrave and favourite Joe Pasquale.
At various points the whole camp has appeared to be against Sophie.
She was attacked for being too self-centred, selfish and only able to talk about herself.
The low point came with the now infamous catfight with Natalie Appleton, yet that provided the turning point.
In her interview with Ant and Dec after leaving the jungle Sophie was very honest in accepting blame for her early treatment in camp.
She explained that she thought that everyone would be in it for themselves and that she had her own survival gameplan.
She even took responsibility for the spat with Natalie and could understand why Nat raged at her that she "had no emotions".
Yet as time wore on she relaxed and became much more part of the team even if she did spend a lot of time crying in the bush telegraph.
Of course, Janet still moaned at her, and she didn’t seem to do quite as much chores as the others, but well, as Fran summed up, "she is a model".
Her stunning good looks were very much a feature of camp and many a red-blooded male will miss her bikinis and trips to wash in the pool.
In the end, after spending two hard weeks in the Aussie bush she leaves with her head held high.
She suggested that herself and Paul had the most to prove and the most to lose in the camp. Just as well then that the British public resoundedly acknowledged her strength of character.
The jungle experience just might have done Sophie Anderton the world of good…
