Long to reign over us in the rain forest - that's squeaky-voiced comic Joe Pasquale.

Nice guy Joe pipped show-tune spouting ex-Butler Paul Burrell into a shaking, sobbing, second place in the final of I'm A Celebrity, just ahead of beefcake night-owl Fran Cosgrave.

Then it was time for the presentation. Big schwing.

Tara Palmer Daddysmoney plonked a cabbage on Joe's head, Ant 'n Dec said something in Geordie, gave the grinning geezer a glass of Asti and the jungle japes were all over again for, well, weeks.

Please say it's weeks.

All the while the throng of forest 'friends' skulked in the background sharing Joe's joy; Natalie mercifully putting a sock in it for once, Sophie practising the pout as she probably plotted her next phase of tabloid sexploits, 'Huggy' being quasi-philosophical and charisma-free - you know the score by now.

Joe, on the other hand, showed the genius that warmed Joe Public's cockles, quipping hilariously about his 'Jacobs' - or 'knackers' if you prefer - and saying something toilet-based about being on the throne.

So I'm A Celeb Volume 3 comes to an end, except for 24/7 coverage with Mark Durden-Smith on ITV2, plus record, panto, DVD and red-top spin-offs.

Wonder what drippy Spencer Moon'll be like in Celebrity Big Brother?
