Saw her on GMTV today - and there's something about that girl that you have to admire (despite yourself!).

I was just thinking this morning that it would be nice if herself and Peter Andre (yes, I know...) were to have a child together. I hope they are insania-cally happy.

The only thing I would admire about Jordan GG is her brass neck for turning herself into a blow-up-doll with a filty mouth to march to maintain her high prifile for the men who like that sort of thing......
It takes a lot of guts to earn your living that way I would imagine. :oops: :oops:

JORDAN TV MUDDLE ABOUT SECOND BABY




JORDAN admitted she was pregnant with her second child yesterday - hours after denying it to millions on TV.

It is understood the pregnancy is unplanned and that the 26-year-old model wanted to keep it secret until the all-clear from a scan. She also feared it might harm her chances in the Eurovision song contest in May, in which she hopes to represent Britain.

Dozens of viewers phoned to find out if Jordan, fiancee of former pop star Peter Andre, 31, was expecting when she appeared on GMTV at 7.45am with a telltale bump. Asked if she was pregnant, she at first replied: "I'm not." Pressed by presenter Jenni Falconer on whether she might have more children, she stumbled: "I'll be having kids, yes."

At 3pm Jordan - real name Katie Price and mum of Harvey, two, by soccer star Dwight Yorke - owned up and apologised for the earlier confusion.

Her agent said: "Katie and Peter are pleased to announce they are expecting their first child together.

"We apologise for not confirming this information earlier but we have been awaiting the all-clear from a scan. It was only confirmed at lunchtime today that the baby is well and healthy.

"This was of particular importance due to the health complications Katie has experienced with Harvey."

The baby is due in the summer. The agent added: "Katie, Peter and Harvey are all looking forward to the new addition to their family. They are extremely happy."

Harvey was born blind because of a condition called optic nerve hypoplasia.

He has gained limited close-up vision and has hormone injections to help his improvement. But medical sources say it is unlikely Jordan's second child will have the same condition.

Jordan and Peter met in the jungle on TV's I'm A Celebrity..Get Me Out of Here last year. But a source disclosed last night: "Katie and Pete didn't plan this baby. The timing isn't ideal as Katie is trying to launch herself as a singer. She's going all-out to be the UK's Eurovision representative. Now voters may see her pregnancy as an obstacle. But she and Peter are happy."

Peter, who proposed to Katie last November, faces being a stay-at-home dad after being dropped by his record label, the Mirror can disclose.

The singer has been ditched by Atlantic Records after his comeback album, The Long Road Back, failed to set the charts alight.

An insider said: "Pete was devastated to be dropped but he doesn't plan to give up. And the money he and Jordan make from glossy magazine photo spreads will keep the coffers full."

Atlantic said: "Peter is no longer signed to Atlantic Records."

Jordan first showed the signs of a bump at the Brits on February 9 when she wore a bizarre blue dress that provoked cries of derision.

On February 15, she wore a grey poncho to hide the bump while promoting her Eurovision bid in Soho.mirror

After her previous sadness with miscarriages and Harvey's condition, it must have been scary for her, wondering if this baby was o.k.

I don't see why being pregnant would mean she couldn't compete in the Eurovision - but I suppose she would be criticised for being 'irresponsible' if she does take part.

She works for her money - not the sort of work I'd like a relative of mine to be doing, but there you go..

I find, as a socialist, the entire "they've made a lot of money, you have to admire them" argument odd!! After all a lot of her fame, has been derived from grotesquely disfiguring herself, and then doing tacky "kiss and tells" with not that famous slebs, i really don't have to admire that!!

I also have more sypmpathy for people who DON'T sell the stories of all their problems to the highest bidder, must be really breaking them up to talk about it, in every glossy that will listen :roll:

I aggree about the admiring people because they made alot of money thing. Money's not the most important thing IMO.
Irrelevant I know, but should we admire hit men? They make sh1tloads. Not comparing Jordan to a murderer of course.

First thing that you've got to understand about me, pobbop, is that I am a Gemini - and there are at least two sides to me. Consequently, two women in the music business I particularly are Joan Armatrading - for being natural, and letting her music speak for itself, - and Cher. Go figure!

The last thing I would want to be is patronizing to anyone - but I fear the next comment may stoop to that level. Shell is a different kettle of fish to Jordan. She has an honours degree. She could have a 'proper' career even without her BB exposure - but if she was to use her BB profile to supplement whatever earnings her history of art qualification provided - she could do very nicely, thank you. I don't know much about Jordan - in fact, I'd barely heard of her until IACGMOOH :oops: , so perhaps I'm mistaken, but I don't think she has the academic qualifications that Shell has. But she recognised an opportunity to profit from her looks, and she went for it. She seems to have this 'Jordan' persona, which is quite different from Katie Price - she said on GMTV yesterday, when they said 'You've been quoted as saying 'if I can't wave the Union Jack, I'll wear it', and she said 'well, that's a typical 'Jordan' quote'.

It's not easy being a Gemini, pobbop! Part of you wants to occupy the 'high moral ground', and part of you wants to say 'Go get 'em, girl'.

The 2 different personas is simply to sell herself to OK-style mags and Loaded-style mags. So transparent it would be pathetic, if only peeps didn't fall for it :D

I wouldn't say I was using my zodiac sign as an excuse - that's just me, and I don't always see things in black and white. I'm kind of glad about that, to be honest.

But having read about typical traits for different signs - I reckon that I'm a typical Gemini.

And the fact that people do fall for it, shows that it may be an astute business idea. What would she do otherwise - work in a mundane job for very average money - like me?

Sorry i was confused by "THE FIRST THING YOU'VE GOT TO REMEMBER ABOUT ME, POBBOP, IS I'M A GEMINI" I truly am thick i guess :angel:

As for seeing things in black and white, its better than those tinted-glasses you seem to wear for eveery repugnant sleb, except the evil (war hero, and oft-praised, by peeps who know him) James Hewitt :D

The fact that people fall for it, should just remind us of the shocking state the world has gotting into, amd PURLEAZE do you honestly believe she, or others of her ilk, thought this stuff up!! Its just a triumph for PR nonces :roll:
