I'M A Celebrity winner Joe Pasquale is being lined up by ITV in the Saturday night ratings war.
The BBC have unveiled Graham Norton as their weapon against Ant and Dec in the tea-time slot.
Now ITV have hit back with Pasquale, who is recording a pilot called Ready Steady Joe.
An insider said: "It's a studio-based family show with people setting up their partners to be wound up involving food.
"Joe's a great personality and he'll keep the atmosphere fun with a lot of laughs."
The show will feature members of the public who are fed up with being nagged about what they eat by their partner while their other half eats anything, or whose partner has irritating eating habits.
Pasquale will record the pilot next month and if it proves successful, a series will be commissioed .
The comedian won ITV's last series of I'm A Celebrity, beating former royal butler Paul Burrell into second place
