I'M A CELEBRITY ..GET ME OUT OF HERE: GET WEE OUT OF HERE!
I'M A CELEBRITY.. THE TIDDLE RIDDLE Celebs are ordered Carol Thatcher has to use the jungle dunny after a late night tinkle by her bed
From Frank Thorne In Murwillumbah

CAROL Thatcher stunned I'm A Celebrity bosses by having a sneaky wee next to her bed in the early hours yesterday.

The 52-year-old couldn't be bothered to go to the camp "dunny" loo when she felt the call of nature.

So she shuffled over, whipped down her knickers and relieved herself a few yards away in the bush - breaking the show's hygiene rules.

But lazy Carol didn't realise her nocturnal antics were being recorded on infra-red camera.

Now, programme chiefs have ordered contestants to use the toilet provided. Camp leader David Dickinson was told to make sure the group follow the rigid rules.

When he passed the message to the others, they quickly realised someone had gone to the loo in the wrong place but were kept guessing as to the culprit's identity. Carol sat in embarrassed silence.

Her wee exploit came after she threw up on her parachute partner during their 12,000ft skydive.

Before jumping from the plane, cocky Carol declared: "Is this club class? The in-flight service is going to be minimal today."

Moments later she was sick on herself and the skydiver she was shackled to during the jump. Carol, Lady Thatcher's daughter, apologised.

There was also drama on the ground as actress Elaine Lordan collapsed twice in 24 hours.

The 39-year-old axed EastEnders star was last night in Murwillumbah hospital after paramedics decided she needed proper care.

Bosses fear mum-of-one Elaine, who has a history of heavy boozing, may not return to the ITV1 show.

She was carried out of the jungle on a stretcher. An insider said of her mystery collapse "She didn't say anything. She just keeled over and fell to the ground. It was scary."

But a hospital spokesman said: "Her condition is not life-threatening. She is stable."

Elaine's first collapse came shortly after she had entered the stifling Australian jungle.

Bosses blamed dehydration and the trauma of an earlier fall during Saturday's high-wire challenge. She recovered enough to carry on.

An ITV source said: "Nobody saw this coming. We're all a bit shocked.

"She had eaten and was reassuring her fellow celebrities that she was OK after what happened to her on Saturday."

TV chiefs have been phoning Elaine's worried family in North London to keep them informed of her condition.

They insisted contestants were checked out for any medical problems before filming began.

An ITV spokesman said: "We were advised there was no reason why Elaine should not do the show.

"We wish Elaine a speedy recovery. We don't know why she collapsed and we don't know if she will return to the show.

"The safety and health of the celebrities is of paramount importance, which is why paramedics are on site 24 hours a day."

Sid Owen and David yesterday tackled the first Bush Tucker Trial, called the Jungle Scales of Justice, and won four stars and a decent meal. The pair helped each other swing up and down a tall tree on harnesses to unlock goldfish bowls containing food stars - and Aussie critters such as biting bugs, cane toads and snakes.

David had to put his hand in a bowl full of rats. He later claimed one bit him.

But Sid drew the line when a python blocked one container. The pair left disappointed they had not won all the stars.

Former Blue singer Anthony Costa earlier let slip he was planning to propose to girlfriend Adele Silva when he leaves the jungle. Quizzing Elaine about her boyfriend he asked: "Did you know he was the one straight away? That's love."

Sid said to the smitten star: "Are you getting married then?"

Anthony grinned and Sid laughed: "He's given it away already."

Jenny Frost pitched in: "Woooo, you're gonna get married."

Jimmy Osmond was caught smuggling salt and pepper into the camp inside his teddy bear Hummy's backside.

He added the banned flavourings to rice and bean stew. Jimmy told the celebs: "When I made my teddy bear, and this is not on purpose, I padded him with peppercorns."

But producers spotted the illegal supplies and called him to the Bush Telegraph to explain himself.

Carol and David clashed when he told her: "You look just like your mum." She barked: "Lay off family resemblances."Mirror

ELAINE Lordan's mystery collapse was yesterday blamed on the heat of the Aussie jungle.

Tests showed the ex-EastEnders star was not dehydrated when she passed out on the first day.

TV bosses said last night there was a "50-50" chance she would return today.

Elaine, 39, was first rushed to Murwillumbah hospital a few hours after arriving at camp and she was given the all-clear. But the mum-of-one was told that TV bosses needed a second opinion before letting her go back.

She was taken to a different hospital overnight. A friend said Elaine, who has _ a history of heavy drinking, was desperate to return. The pal added: "No one really know why she passed out - we think it was caused by the stress and heat."

A show spokesman said: "We are waiting to hear what the docs recommend." Elaine will not be replaced if she is unfit to go back.Mirror
