STAR'S TRIAL COUNSELLING
TRAUMATISED Sheree Murphy was given counselling for 90 minutes after her live Rocky Horror trial.
The former Emmerdale star burst into tears and nearly fainted after enduring maggots, eels, spiders and crocodiles.
But camp leader Bobby Ball was full of praise, saying: "She was wonderful. She was shaking and crying, trying to tell us what she'd been through. She was like a wet lettuce. She was a legend."
Despite gaining five stars, the actress was convinced she had let everyone down. After her seven-minute ordeal, Sheree almost collapsed and needed on-the-spot first aid treatment plus trauma counselling. Shaking uncontrollably, she wailed: "I'm so upset. My husband and my mum and my kids - they'll probably say come home. But I'm not going to."
Sheree, who hates most creepy creatures, was scared that her footballer husband Harry Kewell and their children wouldn't be proud of her.
She added: "It made a difference that it was live, knowing that people at home were watching you. I know he would have been willing me on but it's upsetting.
"I was so cold as well. I know it's not enough food to go around but they can't blame me for not trying.
Speaking about the trial, she said: "It was just disgusting I wouldn't want to do it again. My whole body was shaking. I was petrified. I knew it was going to be bad. You know nothing is going to be poisonous but I was frightened these things were going to bite. It was humiliating and I felt stupid."
Her brave efforts impressed the rest of the camp. Jimmy said: "Sheree did much better than I ever expected. Apparently, she was just really strong and she got five stars so we're going to eat tonight."
Later, Sheree revealed that Cannon and Ball's surprise arrival had upset some members of the celebrity camp. She told the Bush Telegraph: "Maybe people are getting too cosy and need kicking into shape. Bobby is leader and I know he won't take no rubbish from Carol and David. They're the main two. You can feel the tension."
Sid added: "Bobby likes authority. I don't think he realises how leadership went before - it was all shared. It will be interesting to see who he upsets."
The celebs have also made some varied demands. Jimmy wants mosquito cream and a ladle, Sheree wants washing-up liquid to replace the shampoo they are using and Jilly asked for a razor - for David, who wants lip balm and a bigger shirt.
More modest in their requirements were Antony who wanted the latest Spurs results, and Sid, who asked to know who got kicked out of X Factor.
Tonight's trial will see two contestants cycle on a high-wire rope dressed as bumblebees.
