DAVID Dickinson was going, going, gone off I’m A Celebrity last night.
The antiques expert clenched his fist when told he was leaving and said: “Yes.”
He was hugged by actor Sid Owen and Carol Thatcher told him: “Have a drink for me, snorkel your way to the bar.”
After leaving the camp David, 64, told Ant and Dec: “I really enjoyed it, it was a real challenge. I have to say like a lot of people in there I wanted to win, but I’m not unhappy to come out today.”
The perma-tanned star revealed he had broken the show’s record for the most mosquito bites.
He said: “I can tell you Paul Burrell had 53 or 54 I think.
“I passed that on day three. I’ve got them all over my legs and all over my arms.”
He also lavished praise on equally off-the-wall Carol.
He said: “She is a one-off. An extraordinary English person. We sent people like that into the Battle of Waterloo.
“It’s a real jolly hockey sticks thing but she’s a real, great character.”
Bookies William Hill now make Carol even-money favourite to win the programme. Bobby Ball is favourite to be next to get booted out.
