EX-boyband star Antony Costa is in Glasgow today raising money for Cash for Kids after being evicted from the I'm A Celebrity... jungle. The former member of Blue is at Glasgow's Hilton hotel to raise funds for the Radio Clyde appeal along with Lulu, El Presidente, Hue & Cry and KUBB. Stars are jetting in from around the world to take part in the event which is being broadcast on Clyde 1 and 2 from 1pm. They will perform live at the lunch, the second within a week. The first, held last Friday, raised £96,992 for the appeal. Antony was among the stars of I'm A Celebrity... who flew in fromAustralia saying they were delighted to be home after confronting their fears in dreaded bush tucker trials and braving torrential rain while surviving on basic rations. Carol Thatcher, daughter of former Prime Minister Margaret, passed the trials with flying colours and was voted Queen of the Jungle. Publication date 09/12/05 EveningTimes |
