I'm a Celebrity. . . Get Me Out Of Here! stars Cannon and Ball are set to make a triumphant return to Wolverhampton as part of a glittering spring season unveiled by the city's Grand Theatre.

The veteran comedians, who were this week's surprise late additions to the jungle, will perform at the venue in their show 'Funny Guys' on Sunday April 30.

The Oldham duo - real names Robert Harper, 61, and Thomas Derbyshire, 67 - are currently recovering after spending time in the jungle.

With this year's Christmas pantomime Aladdin - starring Billy Pearce and Only Fools And Horses' John Challis - which opening last Saturday, the Grand has lined up a host of top shows for the coming months.

The season kicks off on Monday, February 6 with the return of 80s musical Boogie Nights 2, starring David Essex and Sophie Lawrence.

Former Give Us A Clue regular Lionel Blair will be the celebrity host for a week when the spectacular Simply Ballroom opens on Monday, February 13.

The ever-popular Shakespeare 4 Kidz will stage Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth on Thursday, February 23, and Friday 24.

Father and son team Clive Webb and Danny Adams return with a brand new version of their Circus Hilarious show on Saturday, February 25. A brand new musical, This Is Elvis - penned by Beatles biographer Philip Norman - runs from Monday February 27 for a week.

Kate O'Mara, Susan Penhaligon, Tracey Childs and Tony Britton will lead the cast in the first ever production of Agatha Christie's The Hollow from Monday, March 6.

Willy Russell's gritty Liverpudlian musical Blood Brothers returns for two weeks from Monday, March 13.

Former Hi-De-Hi star Su Pollard will play Nurse in Romeo & Juliet opposite Gerald Harper as Friar Laurence from Tuesday, March 28.

Wolverhampton Musical Comedy Company stage the Gershwin musical Crazy For You from Tuesday, April 4.

Other gems in the season include Jeffrey Archer's Beyond Reasonable Doubt, starring Leslie Grantham, Simon Ward and Alexanda Bastedo, the return of A Night At the Music Hall with Danny La Rue and West Bromwich Operatic Society, who will stage The Witches Of Eastwick. English Touring Opera will present Tosca and Jenufa, while the theatre has also secured visits from West End sensations Tonight's The Night - The Rod Stewart Musical, and Disney's Beauty And The Beast. Brummie Pop Idol Hayley Evetts will play Sandy, with Paul Manuel as Danny in top musical Grease.

For children there's Fireman Sam, while the ever-popular Abba Mania and Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat also return to the Grand.

One nighters include The Chuckle Brothers in Doctor What, The Solid Silver 60s Show - featuring Gerry & The Pacemakers, Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Titch, Wayne Fontana and PJ Proby - A Night At The Musicals, Stars In Their Eyes winner Gary Mullen in One Night Of Queen, and the regular Charles Vance Repertory Season, which will run for six weeks this year instead of the usual eight.
