The Hamiltons On Radio Swindon
Neil and Christine Hamilton are to present BBC Radio Swindon and BBC Radio Wiltshire's Christmas morning programme from 09:00 to 11:00.
Christine said: "This year I'll be delegating the Christmas lunch to my 92-year-old mother while we're presenting our show!"
The former MP and his wife moved into the county last December, just in time for Christmas, and spent the festive period surrounded by packing cases.
The couple will be chatting to many of their celebrity friends during the show, including Gyles Brandreth.
They are also hoping to hear from their chum Carol Thatcher, who was recently seen winning I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
They will also be playing music including tracks from their favourite era, the Sixties and Seventies.
Christine said: "National TV and radio is all very well, but to be able to talk to friends and neighbours is very special. Local Radio is much more intimate."
They admit that they are not very technically minded. Neil says: "We'll need a signal man to pull the handles!"
