SEX PISTOLS frontman JOHN LYDON revealed his secret charity work because he was sick of British press reports calling him "a greedy, celebrity-hungry git" after he quit UK reality show I'M A CELEBRITY, GET ME OUT OF HERE. Lydon only agreed to take part in the show so he could raise cash for his favourite causes, and was heavily criticised when he famously walked out as the programme became over-competitive. He says, "I did it so I could scoop the money into charities. I shifted a huge amount of money into a few different funds... I did it for a laugh. "And when it came time for who was going to win I walked, because I don't do anything for competition.
