Hoff's off to jungle for £300k
BAYWATCH star David Hasselhoff has trousered a whopping £300,000 pay packet to go on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
The beefy actor, 54, known as The Hoff – is getting more money than any previous star of the Australian jungle.
But TV bosses reckon he will be great value in the wake of his divorce battle with Pamela Bach, 43.
Last week, court papers filed by his wife of five years revealed claims he once gave her a sex disease, got so drunk he wet himself and scared her with drink and drug-fuelled rages.
A source on the series said: “Once bosses found out Hasselhoff was available they jumped at the chance to get him.
“The Hoff is one of those names everyone knows and it would be great to see him back in his swimming shorts.
“But the water he’ll be splashing round in won’t be quite the same as on Baywatch. For a start it’ll be muddy and full of creepy crawlies.”
Fiery supermodel Naomi Campbell is also being tempted with a £250,000 offer to head Down Under.
Campbell, 36, famous for her temper tantrums, has been arrested eight times and was only last week quizzed about an alleged attack on her drugs counsellor.
But a source close to the catwalk babe said: “No one has ever seen what she is really like behind closed doors.
“She would be the most sensational signing ever on the ITV show.”
The Daily Star Sunday can also exclusively reveal Myleene Klass has signed a £100,000 deal to enter the jungle.
The former Hear’Say singer-turned violinist is hoping to conquer her fear of spiders .
I’m A Celebrity is due to start on November 13.
