Stroppy Gest is a pest!

I’M A CELEBRITY drama queen David Gest has been given a dressing down after a series of tantrums and rows.

Shocked show bosses and fellow stars watched in amazement as the freaky-looking concert promoter . . .

Threw a wobbler after one day because he couldn’t have chocolate and tried to bribe a cameraman £40,000 to get him some treats.

Sent TV censors into overdrive by launching a foul-mouthed rant about Lauren Booth, 39.

Upset comedienne Faith Brown, 62, by spying on her in the shower and making remarks about her infamous boobs.

Gest caused a rumble in the jungle within 24 hours of arriving in the Aussie camp. And his antics appear to confirm producers’ worst nightmares about the ex-husband of Liza Minnelli, 60.

The creep, 53, has failed to grasp that it’s a survival series and keeps calling it "a holiday". When he discovered the camp diet consisted of rice and beans, he went nuts.

He called out to a crew worker: "How much do you get paid for this show? I will give you £40,000 if you get me three Hershey chocolate bars and deliver them to me here tomorrow."

His pleas fell on deaf ears before he launched into a bitching session with Toby Anstis, 37, telling the DJ he was still smarting from the comments Lauren made before the show.

She said: "I can’t believe David Gest is going in. Is that for real? He’s scarier than Michael Jackson."

Gest told Toby: "That Lauren is a f***ing c***. You should have heard what she said about me."

TV censors then leapt in to bleep out Gest’s rant.

Later he upset Faith after spotting her taking a shower. In front of her, he said to Jason Donovan, 38, Matt Willis, 23, and Toby: "You could breast-feed all of us. We would all have milk."

But the comedienne failed to see the funny side. She raged in the Bush Telegraph: "I’m no prude but I don’t like that."

After getting a dressing down in the Bush Telegraph, Gest seemed to settle in and even volunteered to clean the loo.

Carol to 'front weak bladders campaign.'



According to the latest tabloids, last year's I'm a Celeb champion Carol Thatcher - who is now remembered for being seen weeing in the TV campsite - to is be the face for a weak bladders scheme.

Ms Thatcher has agreed to work with an incontinence pad company to try and encourage those individuals suffering from the condition to seek out aid from their doctor.

A spokesperson is quoted in the Sun as saying: “She’s famous for being caught with her pants down.”

The 53 year old star will participate in television and radio discussions.

She also added in the newspaper:“Having been caught peeing in the bushes I realised I’d become unembarrassable.”

EastEnders star heading for the jungle

Dean Gaffney is heading for the jungle.

The former EastEnders star was originally flown out as a stand-by contestant for I'm A Celebrity.

Show bosses now want him to enter the jungle in the next few days.

According to the Sun, a show insider said: "Dean is just too good to have on stand-by, we had to use him."

Footie legend Stan Bowles is also due to jet out to Australia.

Show chiefs are still debating whether to send the ex-England star into the jungle or keep him on stand-by.

Meanwhile, David Gest won six stars in his Bushtucker trial.

He was submerged in tank full of alligators, snakes and spiders.

To get stars he had to match ten wrenches with pipes on the wall - releasing the creatures.

He shouted at the alligators: "Get out of the f*****g way you b*****ds", but later joked: "I had some of my oldest friends there."

Designer Scott Henshall will take part in the third trial - the Jungle Boogie.

DAVID Gest yesterday won six stars in his bushtucker trial - then bizarrely got Myleene Klass to pluck his nose and ear hair.

The ex-husband of showbiz legend Liza Minnelli was chosen in the first viewer vote to undergo the terrifying Flash Flood trial.

As presenters Ant and Dec quizzed the oddball music producer, 53, on how he was feeling about the task, he seemed perfectly calm.

"I'm not nervous at all. I'm not up for the challenge but I'll give it my best. Whatever happens happens."

The Geordie duo told Gest he would be locked inside a tank where he had to unscrew pipes, releasing a torrent of water containing scary creatures - including spiders and alligators.

As an added twist, the tank would also fill with water as he battled to grab the stars needed to win the celebrities a meal. As the water started to rise, he calmly began opening the pipes.

The first unleashed fish, followed by two alligators. He yelled at one them: "Get out of the f***ing way, you b*****d."

The next pipe contained huge water spiders which covered his head and body. Asked by Dec how he was doing, Gest said drily: "Oh, I'm just having the time of my life."

He greeted the creatures as "old friends" and even chatted to one giant water spider crawling on his head, saying: "Hi, how are you?"

After grabbing his sixth star he decided he'd had enough - just as the water began to rise over his head.

And as he clambered out, Ant helpfully told him he still had a spider on his head. "So big deal," he sniffed, throwing it on the floor and striding off - with another spider clinging to his T-shirt.

When David arrived back in camp, after winning the six out of 10 meals, ex-Neighbours star-turned singer Jason Donovan was so impressed he broke into Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out for a Hero.

And in one of his oddest moments so far, David persuaded ex-Hear'say star Myleene to pluck his nose and ear hair. "God, I've found the right girl," he sighed, adding: "If this shows on TV, I'm more nutty than they even think."

Later around the campfire David opened up about his failed marriage to Liza. He removed his microphone for a chat with Myleene and former Busted star Matt Willis - but his words were still picked up.

He referred to Liza as "it" and claimed he was responsible for transforming "fat" and "pug nosed" Liza into a beautiful woman again.

"She was this big," he said, throwing his arms wide to demonstrate.

When Myleene said that he should show Liza some respect, he boasted: "I transformed it. It's the truth."

LAUREN Booth blasted her Prime Minister brother-in-law Tony Blair for the Iraq war during a frank discussion with the other campers, saying she was "embarrassed" by him.

She told them: "I've been a Labour supporter all my life and when Tony Blair took over the party that I love I campaigned to help them, believing he was going to be the messiah of the party.

"Like any other member I got more and more disillusioned and then hurt and then shocked. Not on a personal level, on a totally political level and then angry and disgusted and then f**ked off."

She then admitted that she and half-sister Cherie were no longer close since she became a vocal opponent of the Iraq war.

Booth said that people ask her how she dare to embarrass the Prime Minister. "I say, 'Hey I haven't killed 650,000 Iraqis'. He's embarrassed by me? I'm embarrassed."

She then hinted that she knew that Blair might stand down as early as January - although she didn't seem too sure about it.

"He will go in January," she declared. "He made the decision so he is standing down in January." Then added: "No, maybe March. What am I saying? Easter."

Gest: I transformed Liza Minnelli

David Gest has already proved that he has a pretty high opinion of himself, and now the estranged husband of famed singer Liza Minnelli has claimed that he is the reason for her current success.

Speaking to fellow contestants Myleene Klass and Matt Willis on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Gest called Minnelli "it" and said that he was her Henry Higgins, referring to Eliza Doolittle's transformation in My Fair Lady.

"I transformed it, that's the truth," he bragged.

Despite Klass' efforts to get Gest to call Liza by her name as "she's a legend", Gest carried on with his rant, saying: "Mike [Michael Jackson] called and said I want Liza on air. I said she's too fat…and I don't think she can sing".

But despite his comments about Minnelli, Gest seems to be going down pretty well with his fellow celebs in the jungle, especially as he won six stars for the camp's dinner.

Former pop star Jason Donovan has been waxing lyrical about Gest, saying that he loves him and that he is "a genuinely unique individual".

"I think that he is a great character. He is so foreign to this environment. I think he is fantastic. He is gorgeous actually," Donovan exclaimed.

But Klass took the Gest-worship one step further, helping him to pluck his ear and nose hair. Unklassy.

Whining in the jungle

DAY TWO of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here and a shock in store.
The first is the realisation that this lot aren't as reptilian as the last lot of jungle creatures.

But they do like to whinge a lot. Lauren, for example can savage David Gest in print but she can't cope with a little camp beastie.
However, Ms Booth did redeem herself
when she revealed that although the PM is her brother-in-law, she won't toe the party line.
"People say I've embarrassed the Prime Minister," she says, "but I'm not the one who's killed 65,000 Iraqis." Ouch!
