Six celebs go walkabout

I’M A CELEB stars are in for a huge shock tomorrow when they will be split into TWO jungle camps.
Cunning ITV chiefs plan to start a war between the 12 stressed-out rivals by making the groups compete for food and treats.
Jungle celebs are in for an agonising bout of tribal warfare.
And moaning Minnie Jan Leeming could be the BIG loser.
Show bosses plan to tear the stars apart tomorrow in one of the cruellest stunts ever devised.
The 12 campers in Oz will have to split themseves into two rival groups – who will then live at different locations and will have to compete against each other for food and treats.
Executive producer Richard Cowles gloated yesterday: “The celebs have always felt that the one thing they had on their side in camp was each other.
“But, this year, there won’t necessarily be safety in numbers. They have a real challenge ahead.”
Another insider put it more bluntly… “They won’t know what’s hit them!
“But one thing’s for sure. No one will want moaning Jan Leeming in their camp!”
The great divide could also spill over into the looming evictions – with rumours that ALL those on the team doing best might win immunity from the chop.
And that could wind up the tension to fever pitch. Rows are expected to break out as soon as the stars are told they must choose who goes in which group.
Just like in a school playground, they will fight to be in the gang with their mates.
And that’s where 64-year-old Jan could start to feel the pinch.
When the choosing is over, one “tribe” will leave the campsite in New South Wales where they’ve lived for the past week.
They will be taken to another one called Snake Rock, set up in part of the same rainforest.
The six members will be told to stay there until further notice. They will not be allowed to wander back at will to see their old pals.
But there is speculation that, each day, one member from each tribe will have to compete in a Bushtucker Trial. The winner will get food for his or her own gang and the loser will go back to the rival team empty-handed.
Evictions are due to start on Friday night. So, if bosses of the ITV1 show decide to exempt members of the winning team, competition between the two tribes will be cut-throat.
Our source said: “This stunt has been designed to create tensions and rows.
“Rest assured: there are going to be plenty more surprises.”
