Star couple sign deal with ITV
JORDAN and Peter Andre have signed a golden-handcuffs deal for their their own ITV chat show.
The ex-glamour model - real name Katie Price - confirmed yesterday that she and Aussie hubby Peter would be hosting their own programme under a two-year contract.
But the couple insisted their show would be something different to the usual daytime TV.
Speaking on the Paul O'Grady Show on Channel Four, they said they would prove their critics wrong.
TV host Paul said: "You're going on the other side, ITV, you're doing a chat show." Katie replied: "I can say we have just signed a two-year golden handcuffs deal with ITV."
Paul asked: "Would you like to be the next Richard and Judy?"
The model turned singer said: "We are doing a chat show but it's different to anything before."
Trying to get a word in, Peter joked: "I won't be talking in it obviously."
Katie blasted claims she cannot sing. She said: "We are singing live tonight at the Royal Variety so any critics, it will shut them up."
"The more people knock us the more determined it makes us."
