Viewers of the show who'd watched the growing love affair between the two have started to doubt the true depth of their feelings after Bannerman failed to fly out to Australia to meet Matthews when she left the jungle. The saucy actress refused to elaborate on what it was. But she hinted that all would be revealed soon. Asked what her fave jungle memory had been, the former Hollyoaks star giggled: “You’ll have to wait until I get back to the UK, and then I might say. It’s a secret.” Cheeky Gemma has now set tongues wagging about what she’s been hiding from fans. The popular panto star is believed to be lining up a tea-time chat show in the Paul O’Grady mould.
