David Gest is to star in a musical that documents his life, despite admitting that he's an awful singer and dancer.

The TV producer and concert promoter will play himself in David Gest is Nuts…My Life As A Musical, at the Carling Apollo Hammersmith.

Best friend Michael Jackson said: 'Considering David can't sing and can't dance, it will be amazing to see just how nuts he gets on stage.'

Tickets go on sale today and the show opens on 20 February 2008.
