Christopher Biggins secures record fee for Cinderella panto
Is Christopher Biggins the biggest name in panto? Oh yes he is.
The I'm a Celebrity... winner has bagged a record fee to star in Cinderella after a fierce bidding war.
Several production companies fought it out for the 59-year-old, who will now play Buttons at The Mayflower in Southampton, Hants.
He said: "Undoubtedly my success on I'm a Celebrity... has brought me to a new audience. I think it would be fair to say that has led to a record fee for pantomime. I'm not going to say what that fee is, but I can say if the show does well I wouldn't do too badly."

Mayflower spokesman Robin Hancox said: "This was a major coup. He is one of the greatest pantomime stars of all time."
Tickets for the show go on sale this month and it promises to be a great dame - sorry, day - out.
