GEORGE Takei got the wrong end of the tick when Nicola McLean was bitten by a jungle bug.
The glamour model was bitten by a tick, whose numbers in and around the camp have shot up since the series was first made.
On-site medic Bob McCarron has said in the past: “These ticks won’t kill you, but if any of our celebrities got bitten and we weren’t quick enough, they’d be out of the game and hospitalised.”
But the pain of the bite was relieved somewhat by a baffled George, 71, who misunderstood her ailment – and thought she had a nevous tic!
