David Van Day failed to make it through to the final of I'm a Celebrity as the public vote saw him omitted in favour of George Takei.

Van Day's tactic of creating conflict appeared to be paying dividends, having got into the final four.

But his run came to an end, prompting him to say: "It's been a real roller coaster for me. But my work is finished."

JUNGLE snake David Van Day slithered his way out of I’m A Celebrity last night.

Image David lnvented a new shower cap !

He was booted off the show in another shock eviction – the ninth person to leave.

That leaves former EastEnder Joe Swash, 26, to fight out tonight’s final with tennis champ Martina Navratilova, 52, and Star Trek legend George Takei, 71.

Image Joe says 'Bye Bye' David .

Castration for David Van Day?

THERE'S good news for ‘I’m a Celebrity’ bad boy David van Day.

Before he was voted off, the ex-singer with Eighties pop duo Dollar was constantly moaning about his thinning pate during the hit series.
But something can be done about his bald spot - and there may be at least willing volunteer to help.

The bad news is ... it’s castration.
