His representatives at Can Associates say they have been working on the record deal for the past four weeks.
The 36-year-old singer who announced his split from wife of three and a half years a week ago, last released a solo album in 2004.
It followed the success of his appearance in I'm A Celebrity where he met wife Katie and catapulted him back into the showbiz spotlight.
