Linford Christie is to face crown court trial next month accused of dangerous driving following a crash with a taxi that left the driver critically injured.
The 50-year-old former Olympic sprinter denied the charge during a short hearing before High Wycombe magistrates today.
An earlier hearing had to be adjourned because he was appearing in ITV's "I'm a celebrity..." in the Australian jungle.
The crash happened on May 8 at 11.35pm near Christie's home in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire. The taxi driver broke both arms, both legs, a foot and an ankle and one of his passengers sustained a broken pelvis, nose and cheekbone.
