Lembit Opik has revealed he wants to stand for London Mayor even though he hasn't been chosen by his party. The former Lib Dem MP will be campaigning on Saturday, promising a 24-hour tube service and more help for small businesses. The party will formally announce its candidate in the Autumn. Current Mayor Boris and his predecessor Ken Livingstone will both be in the race in 2012. LBC |
