The guerilla improv anarchist from Trigger Happy TV is now heading to Coventry with his Welcome To Wherever I Am stand-up show and there’s only one thing he’s absolutely clear about ... he is not a stand-up comedian.
“My problem was after Trigger Happy, everyone assumes I’m a comedian,” he grins. “I’ve never done any stand up. My big fear in life is public speaking and stand up. Even when I was the best man to someone, and they were like ‘Oh you’ll be fine,’ it was my idea of utter hell.”
And then he returned from the jungle to find his agent had booked a 60-date stand-up tour.
