The Best man has won me
ALEX Best last night sensationally confessed: "I'm in love—with Jordan's uncle."
The beauty reveals the amazing secret romance with businessman Howard Kruger that she kept hidden throughout I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here!.
She fell for Howard, 44, her agent's business partner, when they shared a flat following her split from boozy soccer legend George Best.
She even phoned him to say she loved him just before going into the jungle.
Amazingly Howard's estranged wife Lorraine is the sister of Jordan's stepfather Paul Price.
But that didn't faze Alex as she kept her secret from her busty campmate and 12 million viewers.
After her eviction she told the News of the World: "Nobody knows about this. Not George. Not Howard's wife. And not Jordan—I certainly didn't want to tell HER in the jungle.
"I fell in love with H the week after I first met him. I have been staying at his flat in London and I've missed him a lot these last two weeks.
"I really think the world of him. He's a totally different bloke to George. He is a normal person and that's what I want. I don't want to be with a star."
During a pulsating interview Alex EXPLODED when we told her of the shameful remarks George made about her while she was in the camp. She branded Jordan a complete SLAPPER.
And she BLASTED Jennie Bond, claiming it was the royal reporter's fault that she got evicted from the hit show.
The 32-year-old beauty couldn't believe her ears when she heard how Best had told an audience in Plymouth: "The wife is in the jungle. She has been bitten by a venomous snake—the ****ing snake died."
He also sneered: "Lord Brocket has got more chance of sh***ing me than he has of sh***ing my wife. She told him in the jungle she was thinking of staying in Australia and that is the best ***ing news I have heard in years."
Alex gasped: "Oh my God! It is awful. It is disgusting. I really hoped he would be proud of me in the jungle and give me support after I had done so much to help him over the years.
Sickens
"To discover instead that he has made those vile comments about me in public and has been so mean and callous really sickens me."
She said she was not surprised that he had been caught drink-driving but said his 18-month ban wasn't enough.
"Maybe a spell in prison would have done him good," she said. "At least it would have kept him away from the booze. I can't be bothered with him any more. He has totally lost it.
"It is absolutely, definitely divorce now. No question about it. I don't have any love for him at all now. I'm in love with Howard now."
But the fact that her new man is related to Jordan didn't stop her rounding on the bitchy model after hearing comments she had made behind her back in the camp.
At one point Jordan told Kerry McFadden: "I bet she's a cow at home."
Alex stormed: "It was a bit two-faced. I thought I was getting on well with Jordan. She's a Gemini. Her birthday is the same day as George's.
"Like George, she has two different personalities. When she is Katie Price she is a really sweet and nice girl. You almost feel sorry for her.
"But as Jordan she is a complete slapper and the way she kept flaunting her boobs in front of the cameras did get on my nerves."
Alex then turned her wrath on Jennie Bond for pinching her Bushtucker challenge—and getting her evicted. "I feel p****d off I'm out now and I blame Jennie," said Alex.
"I was up for doing the Celebrity Seesaw. Everyone in the camp said I was going to do it with Pete. But Jennie muscled in. So we had to head-or-tails for it and Jennie got it.
"The only reason she did it was to get more votes. When I said goodbye she admitted I should have done the challenge because she was scared of water and I'm a former swimmer for Surrey. That really annoyed me. She cost me my place. She was the most fake of all of them."
Alex laughed off Peter Andre's attempts to flirt with her when things weren't going well with Jordan.
"He's not my type at all—I didn't fancy anybody in that camp. None whatsoever," she said. "Peter was the least fanciable of them all. He's so immature.
If I want anyone to win it has to be Lord Brocket. He is a big flirt and puts on an act for the cameras.
"But he has a serious side. Of all the people I spoke to in that camp he was the one person I could have a decent intelligent conversation with."
Now Alex can't wait to get back from Australia to be with Howard.
"I have told my mum and dad about him. He has been to their house and they love him," she said. "We will just have to see how things go."
Last night Howard (pictured right) admitted he had fallen for Alex too.
He said: "I first met Alex when she came to the office. She has stayed at the flat—but we were just friends until the end of January before she went into the jungle. We went to Langan's to give Alex a great send-off and that was the first night where there was something really going on.
"The day before the show Alex called me in and said, ‘I have really fallen for you.' I was flattered. She is a nice girl and I'm very fond of her."
