The Lord regretts his nasty behavour.

The peer said he regretted being so rude about former royal correspondent Jennie.

The former royal correspondent said his comments - including telling the others he wanted to strangle her - had upset her parents and daughter.

A sheepish Lord Brocket admitted: "I did apologise and say I was being a prat, because I was being a prat. The thing is we were all bloody hungry and I was getting crotchety, silly things upset you. I was well out of order."
