LONDON - In possibly the most bizarre reality TV format to date, E4 has commissioned a show that follows four former boy band members as they spend four weeks trying to convince the public they are female.
The six-part series
'Boys Will be Girls' will show Nathan Moore, former 'Brother Beyond' and 'World's Apart' 80s boy band star turned manager, audition and select the best four former popstars for the task. Once the band is selected they will live in a house together perfecting their dance routines and singing voices before they face the final test -- singing in front of a live studio audience and convincing them they are a girl band. Producers will be keen to persuade the boys to go as far as possible in their quest, with eyebrow plucking, leg waxing and toenail painting, most probably, on the menu. The show is being made by 'Wife Swap'...
