LIVING TV has moved quickly to fill the void left by Jade Goody by producing a series hosted by the even trashier Jodie Marsh.

Jodie will host an "inspirational" new series - sensitively called Get A Life - in which five "ducklings" with self-esteem issues are helped to blossom into confident "swans". Hmm.

The series promises to bring together "some of the UK's most socially challenged individuals" then stick them in a room with Ms Marsh where she will use her "unique take on the world" to offer "words of wisdom" to bring them out of their shells.

The car-crash results of her "support" hit the screen next month.

Producers have already told her to stop wearing little more than a thick coat of fake tan, but she is resisting. "I kept making jokes about how the puppies needed air," she rasps.

Heaven help those ducklings.

JODIE ON A LOSER

BIZARRE reality series number nine million and fifty-six (or thereabouts) - Living TV's Get A Life.

A strange game where a bunch of losers are teamed with self-proclaimed high-achievers. (Losers who think they're great.)

And made even weirder by balloon-bust desperado Jodie Marsh fronting the show.

The general idea is that the mentors' confidence, or should that read arrogance, will rub off on the contestants and they'll emerge victorious.

Of course, not much thought is given to the already fragile nomarks who get kicked out of the Hertfordshire house they're living in.

Great for their confidence levels I am sure.

This week saw Paul and Anneka getting a bit fruity, football coach Jermaine flexing his pecs and waffling about some imaginary TV career and Jodie Marsh looking like she had a fight with a freight load of tanning agent San Tropez ...and lost.

Tune in and watch if you can bear it, or take the show's own advice... and get a life.
