THERE’S no doubt that reality TV has dominated what’s been shown on our screens this year. But while recent shows the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing are still fresh in our minds, let’s not forget hits from earlier in the year including the Apprentice, Britain’s Got Talent and Dancing On Ice.
The year started with E4’s Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack – replacing Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother after the Shilpa Shetty race row the year before, which saw a different celeb taking control of the house each day.
But far more popular was ITV’s Dancing On Ice, which saw Suzanne Shaw being crowned ice queen.
