Popstar to Operastar: The Curtain Raiser

ITV1 London, Saturday 04 June - 9:00pm - 9:30pm



Eight pop singers go back to basics and attempt to hone their operatic style before performing live for the first time tomorrow night. The contestants for this series include X Factor winner Joe McElderry, soul diva Jocelyn Brown, Erasure frontman Andy Bell, songwriter and Ultravox singer Midge Ure, former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton, Claire Richards from Steps, Toploader's Joseph Washbourn and Cheryl Baker of Bucks Fizz fame. Including an exclusive performance from mentors Katherine Jenkins and Rolando Villazon. Hosted by Myleene Klass.
