Jeff and Rob had a good old natter about their partners earlier tonight. Jeff told Rob how argumentive/combative Jade is. He said she was like that because of her past life, she was unable to trust people and would push him away every time they get close. He said he had 'hung in there' as long as he could but the time had come when he had to except the fact that they would never be able to live together.
It sounded like he had been through a lot with Jade and he seemd a bit shell-shocked from the experience. Rob told him he was staying in his marrage for the sake of his kids and that he was fed up and gone past chasing the women.
There have been a lot of candid discussions between the group and the fact that this lot of celebs/viewers are learning something about how a farmers life and the life/care of the animals on a farm is such hard work you would ask the question: Why would anyone want to be a farmer?

I dont know how people would want to be farmers I think most of them are born to it and its passed down from father to son so its always in the family. I dont like any farm animals anyway I am scared of cows and horses as I have been chased by both and when I was little a horse threw my friend when she was riding it and it stamped on her face.

I did read somewhere that Jade still loves Jeff and would get back with him given the chance but they are just to different she is so quick tempered I dont know if she will ever find a man that would take her on.

Can't get C5, so haven't been following The Farm (don't know if I would if I could..) but GMTV allerted me to the fact that there was a very tasteless story in the Sun this morning....having read it (on the p.c. - wouldn't buy the trashy thing, of course!), it would appear that the Loos woman has found her calling.. it's the animals I pity.

To read this artical you would assume Rebecca Loos decided to get a pair of rubber gloves , go to the pig shed grab the nearest pig so she could ********** it. She was chosen to do a task that is done most days on a working farm, Debbie had to clean a horses ***** yesterday. Debbie of course is not 25 and noted for an alleged affair with golden balls so her task is not even mentioned.

Loos Controversy Saves Farm's Bacon

Has reality TV hit a new low? Some people clearly think so after Rebecca Loos was filmed ********** a pig on five's countryside caper The Farm.

The channel has received an undisclosed number of complaints following the scenes, aired last night - but it clearly proved a ratings winner.

Rebecca, who claims to have had an affair with David Beckham, donned rubber gloves and stimulated the animal to extract semen, which will be used to inseminate sows.

A Five spokesman admitted that they had received complaints - but was adamant sexy Loos was chosen only because of her talents in the farmyard - and not her past controversies.

"The vet picked out Rebecca to do the job because she has been a very keen learner on the farm and, he felt, would be the most competent," he told Sky Showbiz.

That as maybe, but it didn't do the viewing figures any harm; a record 1.6m viewers - 9% audience share - tuned in.

The sexual tension between Bex and Stan Collymore is also crackling ensuring the show continues to pick up viewers.

Rebecca shot to fame earlier this year with her claims that she bedded England captain Beckham behind his wife Victoria's back in Madrid.

Terry Chopped!
Terrible Terry's troublemaking days are over. The self-confessed "wind-up merchant" was given the chop tonight after receiving the fewest votes from the public.

The latest Farmageddon victim was commiserated by the Farmhands before being led off to have his brains picked by presenter Ed Hall.

Terry was not at all surprised to have been booted out. He admitted that being the last in had been difficult, though overall he had enjoyed his time down on the Farm. "It was a bit intimidating at first, but it was a really good laugh... except when Vanilla Ice threatened to kill me."

Terry had a hunch Margi, Ritchie or Jeff would be the next to go and tipped "whirlwind" Stan for Top Farmer.

Before heading back to the bright lights of the city, Terry had one last task to complete, picking this week's Farm Manager. He decided Rebecca had the right qualities to rule the roost. "She's a bit posh, but very efficient and very hands on," decided Terry.

This means Rebecca will be immune from next week's vote.

gerbilgranny, one of my Brothers lives in Wicklow and he is also unable to get Ch5. I'm sure the station is not blocked and could be tuned in by a local TV engineer.
That aside, if you ever want to watch The Farm you can click on the Ch5 link in my last post and watch the show online.

Why would we care if he is gone or not? ;)
Even tho he was in Rebecca's capable hands and was having his HUGH ego stroked on the hour by Margi, Rebecca and Ritchie it wasn't enough to keep the quitter down on the farm.

OUTHOUSE: Stan
It was a weary Stan who entered the Outhouse this morning for a chat. The eager Farmhand admitted that while he's enjoying the work, it's a grind.

Losing Terry in last night's Farmageddon he considered a blow, particularly as the presenter had started to get stuck in to the tasks. Rob was the one who should have gone, he reckoned. "Voting's not going solely on what's being done but...on entertainment value. From day one that's bothered me," he sighed.

Aside from Terry's burgeoning handiness - and great curries - Stan said he would miss his cheeky humour. "When you're tired, he's the kind of guy that gives you a lift," he smiled. "Even Rob started to enjoy having him around."

Along with Rob, he thought Margi maybe should have been the one to get the chop - not because she's not worthy of Top Farmer, but because he feels she's increasingly going to struggle. He pointed out her age and the fact she's not been eating properly. "We all need to keep an eye on her," he said.
Of Rebecca, he was sure she'd do a good job as Farm Manager. "She takes things seriously, she'll lead by example," he stated confidently. "I think everyone respects what she's done."

And what of the suggestion there are sparks between them? "How did I know you were going to ask that?" he laughed. "You've just softened me up now." He did confess to flirting with her, but then he'd also flirted with Lady Victoria.

He did admit he'd like to see her after the show, but then added Margi, Jeff and Rob to that list. "I'm not going to play a game for TV," he declared brusquely. "If we get on, let's sit down and have a chat," he concluded.

Pleased that people were now getting the jobs done quickly and efficiently, he was nevertheless feeling a little flat. "I miss my kids," he murmured. Though he hadn't wanted to leave last night, he confessed getting packed up had set him "in the mindset of seeing [them]."

But he promises he's OK. "I just need a mental lift, a bit of entertainment to lighten the mood," he smiled.

Which is lucky, as tonight the gang are getting a buffet and an entertainment night!
